Adey MagnaClean Professional (Pro) 2 XL model is a magnetic boiler filter (rust and dirt separator) designed to capture and eliminate magnetite particles in heating system's water, allowing to minimize heating bills and system maintenance. Pro 2 XL is an oversized variant of Pro 2 model with larger connections and bigger magnet, allowing for higher flow rate and to capture magnetite (rust) quicker and more effectively. This model is best suited for larger systems with high flow rate or for systems which have a lot of cast iron components - cast iron radiators, cast iron boiler, cast iron circulators, etc.

  • Industry's strongest magnets - for maximum capture efficiency
  • Extra tall model for larger residential hydronic heating systems
  • Variety of connection options
  • 360° rotating shut-off valves for vertical, horizontal or custom installation
  • Bi-directional flow - either port can be used for inlet/outlet
  • Low-profile drain port w/ plug and built-in air bleeder valve
  • Can be converted to a combi (air & dirt separator) using optional air vent (part# PK2-03-05459)
  • Includes (2) keys - for drain port and for top cap for easy magnet core removal & cleaning

Good one!
Good product. Works perfectly fine! Just make sure that you have at least 18" before the check valve to prevent rattling noise on shutter

Exceptional performance
I like these check valves very much. The break pressure on the springs is perfect for low pressure applications.

Ask a Question
What side of the circulator would this go the pressure side or the suction side.
Helpful? Yes No
The location of the check valve is determined by your system specifics rather than inlet/outlet side of the circulator pump.
