Viega ManaBloc manifold with (36) 1/2" PEX Press ports - (14) Hot and (22) Cold. Intended for use with ViegaPEX Ultra (Potable/Non-barrier) and Viega FostaPEX tubing and connection methods. Also compatible with all other types (A, B, C) and brands of PEX tubing. Each port (branch) is equipped with a built-in 1/4 turn shut-off valve for individual fixture control. Includes PEX adapters for all ports (branches) and Valve Key.
NOTE: Supply adapters (which connect the main hot & cold pipe lines to the ManaBloc) are not included and must be purchased separately. Accessories (supply end caps, port caps, brackets, etc.) are sold separately.

Tool is required Despite this having the "press" fittings, it requires the Viega PEX Press Tool rather than the previous version which could be pressed together by hand. A "tool required" notice would be useful here.
Reply from PexUniverse: You are correct, the press tool is required to connect PEX pipe to this manifold. However, you're confusing this model with the older one with compression connections, which was discontinued by Viega.

Viega Manabloc manifolds are universally compatible with all types and brands of PEX tubing since in US, these have to meet the same dimensional and performance standards. Note: we do not recommend using PEX-c tubing. Instead, opt for PEX-b or PEX-a, both of which have decades of proven performance.
