Description

Takagi TK-110U-I tankless water heater model is a direct replacement for T-KJr2-IN Natural (NG) and Propane (LP) gas non-condensing models. The new unit uses natural gas by default and comes with a propane conversion kit.
TK-110U-I indoor heater now includes a built-in temperature control on the front panel.

i need to replace my T-KJr2-IN. Will I just be able to swap out for the TK-110U-I? I use LP but understand this comes with a conversion. Will I need anything else?

Yes, TK-110U is the direct replacement for the TK-Jr2 series. Vent is the same, so no changes needed here. Plumbing-wise, the connections on the new model are offset comparing to the old one. If you have flex connectors or PEX going directly to the water heater, then no change is needed. If you have copper, some minor re-soldering work may need to be done. Same for gas outlet.
