Spirovent Jr air eliminator model VJS100 features a patented Spirotube coalescing component, which "filters out" the air from a hydronic or radiant heating system' fluid, allowing for improved performance and extending the lifespan of the heating system's components.

Spirovent Jr air eliminator features an easy to install, in-line design, making it ideal for a large variety of residential and light commercial uses with pipe sizes ranging from 3/4" to 1-1/4".

Spirovent Jr model VJS100 is also equipped with a 1/2" threaded tapping, which allows for easy connection of an expansion tank.

Installation manual included.

It is a "No Brainer"
Our water heater is in the garage at one end of the house and our shower is upstairs and at the other end of the house. So we needed to run our shower for 3 minutes or so to get hot water. And since we were tired of dragging the 3 gal bucket of water back down stairs to water our plants, I decided to try this product.It was very easy to install and works great. The timer is a real plus. Since we both get up at 5am, we set the timer to go on at 4:30am and go off at 8am, and by the time we are ready for our showers, we have hot water in our shower. No more lugging buckets of water. We highly recommend this product, since our scarce water supply in Southern California will not end soon, but our water bills will increase. This Comfort System is really making a difference. And the quality of the product exceeded our expectations. We don't see any disadvantages to this product.

I have a defective sensor that leaks. It was not detected until after installation. They want me to return it to get a replacement. That is going to cost me extra plumbing charges from the plumber amounting to about $160. I can buy this piece at Home Depot for $50. Rotten customer service. If I had bought this at Home Depot I would be saving money. Buyer beware

Why would I pay for a stainless steel pump housing when I can get a cast iron housing cheaper? I intend to use the pump for hot water recirc with cold water line as return.Thanks!

Cast iron circulator pumps are designed for use in closed-loop heating systems only, where there's no oxygen (air molecules) in the water. Oxygen-rich water quickly corrodes the circulator shortening it's lifespan and reducing system efficiency. Both stainless steel and bronze circulators are equally suitable for use with oxygen-rich water.

Will this product prevent my pipes from freezing when outside temperatures occasionally reach -30F? No heat is available in the house while unoccupied for up to 30 days.

This pump is not intended for freeze protection purposes. While it may prevent freezing by re-circulating the water at pre-programmed intervals, there's no guarantee that water will not freeze in between these intervals. A better option might be to drain the water lines.

This pump does not require a return loop and is not designed for a system with return hot water line. If you already have a return line, you can use any circulator pump from Grundfos Comfort System Line except this one.

Yes and yes - the circulator can be installed horizontally, as long as the motor (cylindrical part) is parallel to the ground (basically, pointing to the side) - not pointing up or down and not at an angle.
