Description

1-1/4" Threaded, Spirotrap Dirt Separator (Spirotherm# TDN125FT), employs the patented Spirotube® barrier medium that creates a low velocity area, forcing the dirt particles to sink down to the dirt collection chamber, without blocking the main flow.

Spirotrap Dirt Separators are especially effective in heating systems which contain large amount of cast iron components, such as radiators, circulator pumps, pipes, fittings, etc.

A user-specified removable head is available for access to the Spirotube bundle for inspection or cleaning.

Installation manual included.

Good pump
The pump is good but maybe packing could use some work. Came with cracked plastic electrical case and bent fan cover. Was able to straighten the fan cover at least and had to get it running fast to save my trees so no chance of waiting for an exchange. The pump does a good 16GPM lifting water 104' up my hill at about 58PSI in 1 1/4" PVC. That's about double the speed of the 1HP (9.5 amp) pump I replaced with it at much better efficiency of around 11 amps. Running it's daily 15 minute cycles sounding very solid for about a week now.

Shipping issue
I have not tried the pump yet, but it was a bit bit beat up in shipping. The motor fan cover was bent up to the point it won't stay on the motor and the motor fan has a couple slightly dinged up fins. It took a beating during shipping it appears and I have pictures if you want them.
