Description

TrapShield is an innovative trap evaporation protection device by Sioux Chief, designed for installation directly inside the drain. It is essentially a one-way valve which opens to even the smallest amount of water, but is closed otherwise, effectively preventing water inside the P-trap from evaporating and sewer gases from escaping into the room. TrapShield is ideal for drains which are infrequently used, such as in vacation properties, boiler rooms, garages, etc. It is an excellent alternative to trap primer devices, is much easier to install and costs less.
