Description

3/4" PEX x 1" CPVC adapter is used to make a transition between 3/4" PEX tubing and 1" CPVC pipe in a straight line. PEX side of the fitting is installed using crimp (crimp rings + crimp fittings + crimp tool) or clamp (st. steel clamps + crimp fittings + clamp tool). CPVC side of the fitting is installed in the same way as regular CPVC connection (primer, glue). Made in the USA from copper.

Works well so far
Just finished a transition from cpvc to pex using this and it worked well. This is a solid fitting and seems well built. The large end is cpvc/plastic on the inside so you can use cpvc primer and cement for the bond. The only downside is waiting for the cement to cure before re-pressurizing. Could have used a sharkbite fitting and been done sooner, but this seems like it creates a more permanent connection.

These seem to be of good quality. None of the big box stores in our area carried these and only offered the quick solution slide on fittings that have O-rings that will go bad over time and then leak. Happened twice to my neighbor. The plumbers excuse was they met code requirements. I will never put anything with an O-ring in a wall.
