Description

T-Cone plug is a pipe barrel plug (installs inside pipe) intended for use with 4" PVC (Sch. 40 only), ABS or cast iron pipe in DWV drain pressure testing applications. Raised head allows to install the plug using adjustable wrench or pliers. Not for use in FIP cleanout tees.

Warning: as with all pressure testing equipment, follow all applicable codes/procedures, manufacturer reccommendations and wear safety gear when performing DWV drain tests. Stay clear of the test tees, cleanouts and pipe ends while system is under pressure.

Good plugs
These plugs are decent quality, but you will need to apply some grease to the threads before using them to get the plug to screw in properly. They do not come greased. But that is easy to do and a very minor inconvenience for the great price of this product! After 20 years of plumbing experience I can say that T-cone style clean out plugs are the best on the market as far as usability and quality.
