works as advertised
This is good stuff. Has the same designation as the hePex from Uponor. We are using this for radiant heat below flooring. The tubes are flexible and easily wrap around the bends between the plywood sleepers. It's much cheaper than Uponor and American made :)

Ask a Question
What is the bend radius?
Helpful? Yes No
For all PEX tubing, the bend radius is 8 times the OD of the pipe. For 1/2" PEX (with 5/8" OD), it would be 5". The pipe can be spaced closer than 10" apart if needed (i.e. 8", 6", etc.), but the actual bend radius would need to be maintained, meaning the two parallel pipe runs with a U-turn would look similar to a match (thicker round head with a slimmer stem). Despite recommendations for smaller bend radius out there (such as 4" or even smaller), we suggest avoiding this practice, as it puts unnecessary stress on the pipe and deforms it, resulting in pressure drop and potential weak point.

Can this tubing be used with crimp fittings?
Helpful? Yes No
Yes. PEX-a tubing is compatible with PEX crimp (and cinch clamp) connection systems, since it's manufactured to the same dimensional standard as PEX-b.
