Saved a ton of time
I have my hvac certification through my employer. I wanted to run a dedicated natural gas line for a generator at home. I ran the main line from the meter all in 1" black pipe, but used this csst to connect to the black pipe I ran going back through the foundation to the cut off outside for the generator flexible gas hose. Using this saved me an immense amount of time over what it would have taken to do it all in black pipe. The install directions from the manufacturer are very clear along with their YouTube video.
