Exclusively made by Everhot, this PEX Crimp Tool Kit works with 4 sizes of PEX tubing - 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" and includes a Decrimping Tool (for crimp ring removal) - all in a compact and durable carrying case. Compatible with all types of PEX copper crimp rings and crimp style PEX fittings.

Compatibility:
  • Copper crimp rings made to ASTM F1807 standard (Sioux Chief, Watts, Nibco and other brands);
  • Brass or Poly crimp style PEX fittings (F1807/F877 or F2159 standards respectively);

Works Great.
I've only used the 1/2" crimper so far, but it works great. Comes with a "Go/No-Go" gauge. This adjustable crimper was set right on from the factory. Tried the decrimper too - does a good job of cutting the crimp ring. You've got to figure how to get the pex off the fitting yourself because it doesn't cut the pex, just the crimp ring, which is a good thing.

I worked great for me, not happy with customer service. I Called to ask them a question about the 2 screws I know one to set the force of the crimper and the second to lock the setting , but the locking one it is not moving at all, I am going to call back and if I don't get any help I am sending it back.

I was a beginning, purchased this kit for my basement remodel, and it worked perfectly! Very impressed with the quality and price compared to what I found at my local Big Box store. Only complaint is due to the overall size of the crimper and the length of the handle, sometimes you run into difficult situations due to limited space for opening the crimper, getting it around the PEX and then having the space to fully close the handle. However, this is not at all a fault of the tool.

PEX Crimp Tool Kit
Just started using pex and the store handled Apollo brand. Had leaks with first tool, got very disgusted, went back and got a different tool. Not as many problems but still a pain. Went online, read different reviews, settled on this product. Took it out of the box, made 4 crimps, all passed. Life is GOOD! Great product and some directions on use of tool. Would highly reccomend

Better than expected
I started using the crimper the moment it arrived by FedEx. I put in the 1/2 inch die and adjusted it per instructions. It made perfect crimps. I even tried to use the decrimper tool. It worked much better than I expected. Very easy to remove pex crimps. Still working on best method to remove pex tubing from fitting. Right now, the decrimper tool starts the cut on the pex while I rip the rest off with a needlenose pliers. Thanks for the free shipping.

First experience crimping DIY
Love the tool and it comes with everything you need. It is very easy to use as long as you follow the instructions. The decrimper can come in handy but it took me a while to figure out how to use it. You need to cut the pex pipe right above the fitting, then insert the rounded edge of the decrimper inside the fitting and cut the ring with the sharp tip.

This tool is for PEX tubing only and does not work for PEX-AL-PEX. The only connection method for PEX-AL-PEX fittings we offer as of now is compression fittings: /pex-al-pex-compression-fittings
