Description

Reddi-Strip Staples are manufactured in strips of 50 staples and are easily loaded into the Peter Mangone RSST PEX stapler tool. Each staple has arrow-shaped ends which penetrate the foam insulation with ease and firmly secure the tubing in place. For use with 3/8" or 1/2" PEX Tubing.

For use with 1-1/2" and 2" thick foamboard insulation.

While the staples and gun are somewhat inexpensive compared to the competitors, they are only single barbed and I had many pull outs. Also, the competitors have a weight to hold the staples down, I had some jam-ups too. Still way better than zip-ties

On the average, about 300-400 ft. A more precise answer depends on your pipe layout. For PEX tubing runs with no turns, the pipe is secured every 2-3ft. When making a U-turn with PEX, 3 staples are used - (1) for the top of the U-bend and (2) on the sides of the U-bend.
