Description

Partially clamped (pinched) to prevent accidental slipping of the clamp along the pipe during the installation process. Oetiker brand 1" Stainless Steel Clamps are intended for use with a PEX Clamp (Cinch) Tool, 1" PEX tubing and 1" crimp style PEX fittings (brass or poly).

All Oetiker PEX clamps are manufactured in the USA in accordance with ASTM standard F2098 for PEX stainless steel clamps.

I spent the extra to purchase the no-slip clamps and feel it was worth the investment for the spaces I was attempting to work in. Thus ease of installation I would rank high. I have not as of yet charged my system, so I cannot speak on the sealing quality, but overall, these seem to be a better option to a crimp type clamp, as I have heard these tend to not seal well unless you get even press distributed. The crimp design mimics a typical clamp and with the cinch tool, I would suspect provides the correct clamping force to the pipe being used.

3/4 Cinch Clamps
These work great on regular pex, but do NOT try to use them on 3/4 Pex-Al-Pex. They will not fit! You need a special fitting. Oh, and don't expect the "helpful person" who answers the phone to know how to get from PAP to regular pex. Either they're taught to be stupid or they don't really care. But there is a simple way with the products listed, if you look carefully.
