Oetiker brand 1/2" Stainless Steel Clamps are for use with a PEX Clamp (Cinch) Tool, 1/2" PEX tubing and 1/2" crimp style PEX fittings.

All Oetiker PEX clamps are made in the USA, manufactured in accordance with ASTM standard F2098 for PEX stainless steel clamps and are the only PEX cinch clamps which are NSF certified.

An installed PEX cinch clamp can be removed by cutting off the cinch head with wire cutters and prying the ring off with a flat screwdriver.

Oetiker is the best brand of PEX cinch clamps we know of. These clamps have been made in USA or Canada for decades and are very high quality. We cannot say how they would compare to SharkBite, but most "PEX manufacturers" outsource items such as these and simply re-brand them. Whether they procure clamps from Oetiker or overseas, we don't know.
