Application
Original application on my furnace included pumping overflow from humidifier. Scale from humidifier quickly builds up on bottom of pump sump and prevents the float settling to the bottom position and cycling pump on and off properly. accordingly the pump will then run constantly. This is a good pump and it works as advertised. However, I would not use it on applications where high particulate contaminates are prevalent in the condensate water unless you want to be cleaning out the pump base several times a year.
