Hydrolevel Safgard 400 is a 24V non-cycling low water cut-off (LWCO), designed for use as a primary control on steam boilers (residential or light commercial). Burner circuit contacts open after 15 second delay in a low water condition. Delay prevents short cycling caused by momentary fluctuations in the boiler water level. Automatically reactivates burner circuit 30 seconds after water reaches the probe, allowing optional water feeder to raise water level above the probe.
Features:
Suitable for residential and light commercial steam boilers
Connections for optional wiring to a water feeder
15-second off-time burner shut down delay prevents short-cycling due to surging and priming
30-second on-time delay allows automatic feeders or solenoid valves to fill water above probe to a safe level
Auto-reset - automatically restarts boiler after on-time 30-second delay
Multiple wiring options
Low maintenance - no blowdown or moving parts
Rugged solid state circuitry for top-level performance and reliability.
Technical Specifications:
System Type: Steam Boilers
Reset: Automatic
Connection: 3/4" NPT
Electrical Specs: 24V, 60 Hz, 2 VA (Power Consumption), SPDT (Relay Type), NEMA 1 Enclosure
While PexUniverse.com reserves the legal right set its own product pricing, some
manufacturers require internet retailers to display a price at or above
manufacturer's established MAP ("Minimum Advertised Price").
Since our price for this product is lower then MAP, the manufacturer does not allow
us to display our lowest price until you place the product in the shopping cart.
This allows us to continue offering our lowest prices while staying consistent with
product manufacturer's policy.
This process does not require you to purchase the product - it can be easily
removed from shopping cart if needed.
We understand that this is an inconvenience and are continually working with
manufacturers to educate them on how MAP affects our customers.
