Description

Caleffi FlowShield series dual check backflow preventer with atmospheric vent and 1/2" female NPT connections on both sides. Commonly installed with a pressure reducing valve (such as AutoFill series) and is intended for protecting drinking water supply side from cross-contamination caused by back pressure or back-siphon. The valve is suitable for pressures up to 175 psi and continuous water temperatures ranging from 32°F to 210°F, with emergency backpressure tolerance up to 250°F.
