Caleffi PresCal is a cartridge style, adjustable pressure reducing valve with an on-board pressure gauge and 3/4" female NPT threaded connections. PresCal has a wide range of applications, but is most commonly used for regulating residential and commercial munucipal or well water supply pressure, reducing it to a safe and acceptable level. The max upsteam (supply) pressure is 300 psi and the downstream (building side) pressure is adjustable within 15-90 psi range. The valve is packed with features, including field replaceable cartridge (saves replacement costs and reduces downtime), on-board temperature gauge (for easy monitoring), noise-reducing high-flow design (for minimal pressure drops), integrated and removable mesh screen strainer, easy to read and set pressure dial, UV protective cap and automatic flow control mechanism (which opens the valve only when water is drawn - adjusting flow for demand, and closing it when not in use to prevent over-pressurization). Made in Italy.
