20" high x 24" wide x 2-3/4" deep, hydronic (hot water) steel panel radiator with mounting brackets and hardware.
NOTE: a pair of pipe adapters are required to connect supply and return piping to the radiator and are sold separately (use part# 551016844 for 1/2" copper pipe, 551646850 for 1/2" PEX or PEX-AL-PEX, 551646851 for 5/8" PEX or PEX-AL-PEX).

Features:
  • Radiator includes mounting brackets w/ hardware, air vent (manual bleeder style), (2) drain plugs and thermostatic valve body with manual cap
  • Powder coated white finish is highly resistant to scratching and can be painted
  • Compatible with all piping configurations - parallel, series and dedicated
  • Combines convection with radiant heat to offer better efficiency than baseboard and higher level of comfort
  • Compact design means lower footprint
  • Wide operating temperature range (120-180F) ensures compatibility with virtually all types and combinations of hot water heating systems
  • Quiet - no screeching or hissing common with baseboards and steam radiators
  • Made in Europe

Ask a Question
My system primarily uses 3/4" copper baseboards with 3/4" oxygen barrier PEX. I want to add this to the system. Can I connect the 3/4" PEX directly?
Helpful? Yes No
To 3/4" PEX directly - no. However, you can use any of the PEX adapters (551646850 for 1/2" PEX or 551646851 for 5/8" PEX) and then a piece of PEX pipe with a reducing coupling (such as BPF7005, ECO7005, 645X32, BPF7007, ECO7007, PSF4904, PEF-C-32, 645WG32, PF-C43-LF, etc.) to connect to 3/4" PEX.

Hi there, We have gas hot water boiler with a circulated pump can I use this type of radiator along with my cast iron radiators? I’m planning to buy this one however, I want to know my options Thank you
Helpful? Yes No
Yes, they can be used in any non-potable hot water heating system, including in combination with other type radiators & baseboard heaters. If you have cast iron radiators, we suggest you install a boiler filter so that it could catch the rust particles and prevent fouling of the steel panel radiators. As for the temperature control, assuming you have a thermostat, simply leave the panel radiator valve open to max flow (right top side, shown on one of the photos). This way the hot water can flow unrestricted, similarly to a baseboard or a cast iron radiator.

Can I use these in the same loop as slant/fin baseboard. For example Id use slant/fin in larger rooms but in a small office or bathroom id use the Beacon Morris. Would I run into any issues doing this?
Helpful? Yes No
Yes, it can be done and we see no issues with using both at once. The deciding factor is how your baseboards are piped at present. You can read more about piping methods here (bottom of the page): https://www.pexuniverse.com/panel-radiators If you need further assistance with this, feel free to contact our Customer Service.

Hi, I have a standard tank water heater will i need a circulation pump installed ?
Helpful? Yes No
These are not really designed for use with a water heater, since it produces low temperature water and the radiator efficiency would be at a minimum. Furthermore, they are not approved for use in a potable water system. If you decide to use a water heater, a heat exchanger must be used to isolate potable water from not-potable. Optimal heating equipment for panel radiators is a typical hot water boiler (gas/oil/electric) with an output of ~180F.

Is a re-circulation pump required or an these be installed using thermosiphoning?
Helpful? Yes No
It depends on the piping and overall system design. While thermosiphoning could be an option, a standard circulator would be more efficient, especially since modern circulators require very little power (e.g. Taco's 007E model is only 44W).
