Description

20" high x 16" wide x 2-7/8" deep, hydronic (hot water) steel panel radiator with mounting brackets and hardware.
NOTE: a pair of pipe adapters are required to connect supply and return piping to the radiator and are sold separately (use part# 551016844 for 1/2" copper pipe, 551646850 for 1/2" PEX or PEX-AL-PEX, 551646851 for 5/8" PEX or PEX-AL-PEX).

You are correct. Since not all piping methods require a thermostatic valve, we do not include it in the package - however, the radiator valve insert is included (allows for manual flow adjustment) - see pic 2. Also, our Beacon Morris thermostatic radiator valves cost much less than comparable models from Honeywell and Danfoss.

Decided on this for my bathroom remodel. Couldn’t be happier. Contractor’s first time installing this type of radiator and was amazed how easy it was to install. He says he’ll recommend them to his future clients. Unfortunately, we installed this in May 2023 and won’t know how it performs for us until next fall. But, looks great and we don’t miss the old upright cast iron radiator it replaced. Highly recommend PEX Universe, very fast and efficient. I ordered on a Saturday got a call about a mistake in my address on Monday and received the radiator on Tuesday!

Fantastic Radiator!
It took an extra day to arrive due to the Midwest Snow Storm, but was worth the wait. This is a well designed and built radiator. Easy to install and produces the extra heat I needed. A word of caution to the DIY crowd, the instructions do not mention that the "Valve Insert Cap" will close the valve if you tighten it all the way down... it took me a while to figure that out when bleeding the air out of the system... so screw it down until you feel it touch the valve stem... and STOP! Thanks again to PexUniverse for great products and service.

This is the second of these panel radiators that I have purchased and they work well. This one came packaged well and was in perfect shape when opened. That's more than I can say about my first one, it had a damaged end cover plate. One small detail. Make certain you have a good bleeder key, I stripped out the screwdriver slot trying to open the original unit to drain it back. They really stick after a year. It would be nice if they were made out of something better than soft brass.

The Beacon Morris flat panel radiators are a good economical alternative to Buderus. There are some slight cosmetic differences and the trim pieces are lighter gauge but their function and the installation is the same. The supply/return threading is the same and they appear to use the same connection fittings.

Beacon Morris radiant panels
Love the product. Simple, stylish, works great. Could use better vents, the vent screws are kinda weak and onset so hard to get a socket on them. Also didn’t notice but all of the panels only allow 1.5 GPM. That’s the flow they are designed for but if your boiler requires a certain flow better get enough panels. One came with a pretty big scratch on it but I simply positioned that side toward the wall. Super easy install. I’d definitely recommend.
