Axiom NC-1W NeutraPal 1.6 GPH is ideal for neutralizing condensate from condensing boilers and furnaces operating on natural gas or propane. The NeutraPal will raise the pH of the condensate to a more neutral level before it is discharged to drain.

Got this neutralizer to neutralize the furnace condensate before it is pumped to my septic tank. The NC-1W is really well designed. The build in bypass and bypass indicator is a great feature that simplifies the connections. The threaded inlet and outlet also make it easy to install. Really a well engineered product and it is cheaper than many competitors.

My residential furnace has a 3/4" condensate line hard piped directly to a condensate pump. What unit do you recommend and how would I go about installing it? Also, will the neutralizing media breakdown and affect the pump?

Neutralizing media will break down over time to neutralize the condensate. Breakdown rate depends on the amount of condensate produced (in general 6-12m). It should not affect the pump since impellers in condensate pumps are usually made of plastic. Take note of the Neutralizer specifications to determine compatibility - BTU rating is easy to match to your equipment BTU's.
