Snap-in pipe clips can be used with PEX, copper and CPVC pipes and offer one of the most effective, versatile and reliable ways to secure tubing. Snap-in clips can be used both for horizontal and vertical pipe runs and require a single flat-head fastener.

PEX snap-in clips are designed to allow for installation of clips prior to the installation of tubing. This is extremely useful in overhead installation projects (such as subfloor radiant heating), where clips can be installed along the PEX tubing runs first and then pipe can easily be snapped into the clips.

Snap-in Clips can replace both types of pipe clamps - support type and regular straight type. Recommended installation spacing is 24-30" for horizontal runs and 36-48" for vertical runs of tubing.

Technical Specifications:
  • For tubing size: 3/4" CTS (7/8" OD)
  • Tubing offset from mounting surface: 1/4"
  • Height (without pipe installed): 1"
  • Max. screw cap size: 5/16"
  • Max screw hole size: 3/16"
  • Works both with flat head and round head screws

Perfect for Plumbing!
I like using these clips even though they are a bit more expensive and you have to get your own screws for them. The major upside for using these is that when your working with Pex you can take your length on and off the clip - make your measurements, cuts or add a fitting and then just pop it back on the clip. Its so simple! By using the more permanent clips or hooks would would not allow this. I don't know how many times I thought I was done and then came back to something later, popped the Pex off of the clips, spliced in a line and then popped everything back into place. Highly recommend this product!

Average
Initial install was easy and clamps held hose securely. I used these for a retrofit of an existing hot water radiator system. A few things to consider if you are looking to tackle the same project. -After the hose heats the clamp seems to become more flexible and will release the hose where there maybe tension on bends. -The clamps conduct heat into the joist very efficiently generating heat loss-Insulation conduit will have small air gaps where clamp joins hose for heat loss.I believe these clamps are more effectively used for in-between joist floor heating on smaller diameter hose.

Love the clips
Boy, they made my job so much easier!!! Btw they don't come with screws. Pex can be challenging to work with because it comes in coils, so it's hard to straighten; those clips are a must have when working with pex.

Very handy
Hang clips then come back through with tubing. Very handy, just don't overtighten or they with split when installing tubing.

Works great
The clips work extremely well for cpvc I am currently using as well as for pex. It has made the installation work much easier. I hesitated to purchase the clips due to the cost of shipping. However, I am glad I went ahead and made the purchase.

Loose fit
Overall okay but was a little disappointed about the fit. The 3/8” pex tubing did not snap tightly into the clip, could be much better!!

For an upcoming project
I ordered these for a project to be done next month, so I haven't used yet. However, they do appear to be able to do the job. The order was correct, well packaged, and arrived quickly. What's not to like?

Really snaps
Looks like it is made of durable plastic. I hope it can last for a long time. Only time will tell. As it says in the description "snap-in clip" exactly.

Great idea.
Have been using these to help hold the PEX pipe in place. The 3/4" pipe has a 'coiled memory' and have found that the pipe will pop out from the clips. Took some getting used to...just move the clips to where the pipe wants to be.

slick
These work slick. Snap a chalk line. Install using Torx screws. Snap the pipe into the clips. They seem to hold secure, yet let the pipe expand and contract. Probably not a good choice for runs that are not straight i.e. uneven walls.
