Description

3/4" PEX x 1" male sweat copper straight adapter allows to transition between a 1" copper fitting and 3/4" PEX tubing. Made in the USA from one-piece solid copper (lead-free). Can be installed using either crimp (crimp rings + crimp tool) or clamp (clamp tool + cinch clamps) connection system.

thick and strong casting
I usually prefer these Matco brand brass sweat fittings since they are heavily cast and have a hexated threaded end to put a wrench on. They are strong and dependable. My only complaint would be that I often have a hard time getting solder to bond to the brass. I have to use a ridiculous amount of flux and even then sometimes it doesn't solder up properly. I think it's the LF aspect of the brass since there is no lead in them anymore. I didn't usually have problems before the LF laws came to be a few years ago.
