I live in the part of Texas that experienced the prolonged freezing weather starting Valentine's Day 2021. Nearly everyone I know had frozen pipes somewhere. Late last week plumbing fittings and supplies started to reappear on store shelves but a week into the after effects of the storm I decided in order to get parts I needed to get them from somewhere outside of Texas. I found PEX Universe and sent my first of 3 orders. All orders came in less than a week and on time except the last one which came a day early. I converted our whole house from CPVC to PEX. The PEX fittings and tubing all went together very well and without leaks. I've come to hate CPVC because it becomes very brittle, randomly it seems. I'm guessing the batches vary. I just finished restoring all the damaged plumbing on Saturday. Had a total of 13 leak locations. I spent a lot of "quality" time in crawl spaces. PEX Universe helped me get back into water before any of the local plumbers are available. Only good things to say about PEX Universe, highly recommended. BTW, this is only one of the many fittings I bought from them. The quality has all been consistent. Good Stuff!

Can any brand of ASTM F1960 fittngs be used with any brand of ASTM F1960 PEX-A pipe?

All F1960 fittings are compatible with PEX-a tubing, regardless of the manufacturer, as long as their PEX pipe meets ASTM standards. Some PEX-a tubing manufacturers allow the use of 3rd-party fittings, while others may require using their own brand fittings in order to be covered by warranty.
