Description

Drop Ear Elbows provide a transition between PEX tubing and threaded pipe at a 90-degree angle.

They are commonly used for shower fixture and shower jet connections. Equipped with mounting ears.

This crimp style PEX fitting can be installed using the following connection systems:
  • Crimp Connection System (Copper Crimp Rings + PEX Crimp Tool)
  • Clamp (Cinch) Connection System (Stainless Steel PEX Clamps + PEX Clamp Tool)

Made of lead-free brass, approved for potable water use.
Manufactured to ASTM F1807.

For use with 1/2" PEX Tubing and 1/2" Threaded Pipes.

Is this compatible with Uponor?

Yes, PEX crimp fittings we carry (both brass and poly) are compatible with all types of PEX tubing, including Uponor. Keep in mind that you will need to use either crimp tool with crimp rings or clamp (cinch) tool with clamps, since PEX crimp fittings do not work with expansion connection method. It's a different brass alloy. Lead-free PEX fitting version meets the <0.25% lead contents in accordance with the SDWA (Safe Drinking Water Act).
